I just found out that checking "skip EFB access from CPU" prevents the camera to change into angled mode (button "up" on wiimote). Instead it stays in vertical mode which does not give the best overview.
Unchecking the option slows down the game noticeably (on my machine) but the camera works correctly (has to be unchecked before game starts).

Can anyone confirm this or am I the only one?

Naw I noticed this too.  Still works on Pikmin 2 but Pikmin 1 remains stuck in vertical view unless you uncheck skip EFB acess from cpu but thing is the game is unplayable unless you check it off.  Its the only game I have performance issues with really, and I have an i7 4790k and GTX 970

EDIT:
it seemes Pikmin only has performance issues when using OpenGL and not checking off skip EFB acess from cpu, However Direct3D seems to work fine.

Does anyone else get a black screen booting this game on the latest development builds? My MD5 is 092f509fdd7370903ab2c3e993e1ae3c

It sounds like you're run into one of the known problems with the new Zelda HLE. Either use LLE instead or switch to a 5.0 release candidate for the time being.

LLE did the trick. Thanks!
