I downloaded the stable version of Dolphin and installed my laptop. I tried to start My Fitness Coach and it will not get past the black boot screen. According to the Wii Forum link, this game should work just fine.
I am running Windows 10 on a Core i5-3427 with 4gb of ram. 03-29-2018, 10:15 PM
Yes. That is why I went to the stable version to double-check to make sure there wasn't an issue with the latest development build

Um, according to the Wii Forum thread, where this should have been posted / Wiki page / rating this title is rated 3 stars indicating it has significant issues preventing play. Though it likely should drop to 2 stars given your description.
Was unable to post in Wii thread. For some reason I do not have posting privileges in this area. Perhaps because I am new.
A few things I found interesting, 1) when I looked for it under the games the post said there are no reported problems with the title. 2) I installed Dolphin on my laptop specifically to try this game because I wanted to see if I could get the controller to work. I am doing a build on a NUC using a modified version of Kodi that includes emulationstation. When I open the game on that version of Dolphin (whatever was integrated into the build) the game loads and gets as far as the registration screen. I can get no further because, I thought, the emulator did not register my mouse as a wiimote. I now think it is due to the compatibility of the game. 03-30-2018, 07:45 AM
I can play the game perfectly with build 5.0 6681. D3d, all defaults.
Only issue, is that like many other titles, the first screens run very slow (1 fps). You can wait for them to finish, or you can underclock the emulated cpu to a very low value and after the intro screens you can reset it back to 100%

I also tried recently and at first I thought that doesn't work, but when I let it some time then it loads. After that next time I run it load a bit faster, but it's behaviour is unstable. I tried a workout and has a lot of glitches and frame drops until remote disconnected after 10 mins and I force closed it. I run it again and the second time was faster and I fininshed the same workout without problems.
