I'm not entirely sure what blueman is, but I just followed Shonumi's suggestion and started a game while continuous scanning was on. Worked for me.
It's a shame my 740M and dual core i7 weren't enough to run Fire emblem properly. I hope a 4130 + 750TI will do a better job, since I plan on making it my full time Ubuntu Dolphin Machine.
