Its been awhile since i read the thread on using wii controllers on dolphin.

I was wondering, do the wii motion plus (all one 1) controllers work with dolphin yet?
Or do you need need the older/normal wii controller + wii motion plus separate?

I have a normal wii controller (official one that came with the wii, and i got the wii maybe a year after release, so im sure its liker the very first model controller) + numchuck, and as wii motion plus controller with the motion plus already built in (its an official Nintendo one).
Would i still have to buy a wii motion plus for the other one if i wanted to use it on dolphin?

As the thread i read awhile back said the controller with the motion plus built in wont work on dolphin.

I figured id ask, since im getting a new computer soon that is probably capable of playing wii games, and id like to use a real wiimote on the computer with it, and want to know if i still need to use the normal controller and buy a wii motion plus for it.

It may work or it may not.

If your Wiimote is recognized as RVL-CNT-01 it should work just fine.
If your Wiimote is recognized as RVL-CNT-01-TR it will be more difficult. Try to use Toshiba stack. You aren't 100% sure to get it to work though

I have both of those model wiimotes with motion plus built in and they work fine. You're right about the TR been difficult to connect but once I figured it out it works every time now.
This is how I get it to work
Connect wiimote to Toshiba stack BT settings using sync button (not 1+2) then when it connects just open the wiimote window in dolphin and hit refresh.

So your wiimote with motion plus built in should work fine, heres a pic of mine connected to dolphin.
RED= RVL-CNT-01
Black = RVL-CNT-01 -TR (not connected in first pic as I had yet to figure out how to)
