Hi,
I bought a Wii-Mote with built-in motion plus. Then I learned that I need to have Toshiba BT stack. So I bought a new BT dongle (see attachment) which comes with Toshiba software v7. The dongle doesn't detect my Wii-Mote+. It's working with my two exiting Wii-Mote without motion+. I also tried it with v9 software.

I also checked:
https://dolphin-emu.org/docs/guides/wii-...ooth_Stack
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-A8eLOcjWH0

Unfortunately, I couldn't even get to that far. At the moment, I'm not sure what's wrong. Is the BT adaptor unable to find the Wii or is my Wii-Mote+ defect?

My question, has anyone experienced similar problem before? or is anyone using the same adapter successfully?

Your dongle only seems to support up to BT 2.1, it seems. I believe 4.0 is required for some wiimotes.

EDIT: I think this belongs in controllers, by the way.

No, you're wrong. Played many times with a BT 2.0 dongle without issues (one regular Wiimote, a non-TR Wii Remote Plus and tested also with a -TR version as well). When I moved from the old dongle to my current WiFi+BT combo card (BT 4.0), nothing changed, same connection performance and same known bugs I had with the old BT 2.0 dongle...

Is there a button or something on the wiimote that needs to be pressed? If there is, you could try pressing that if you didn't press it at all. I say you might have to do that if there's a button since the PS3 controller is the only bluetooth device I've ever known (of the 3 bluetooth devices I've ever known) that tried pairing automatically.

Yes, there's a sync button in the battery compartment. I have to press the button before the PC searching for BT devices. Alternatively, I can press the button 1+2. The dongle can detect my old Wii-mote without motion plus.

Yes, but I couldn't even get that far. It failed in step 4 of "Connecting the Wii Remote Plus" while other Wii-motes were detected. The new one doesn't appear in the list.

Without a wiimote connected, what is the color of the bluetooth icon on the task bar?

And you remembered to press the sync button on the bottom of the controller, right?

The icon is blue with a white B. Currently, 2 Wii-mote (without Motion+) are listed and I can connect them without a problem. TheWii-mote+ cannot be detected. As I mentioned before. It's also possible that the Wii-mote+ is defect.
When I press sync or 1+2 buttons all lights flash, just like my other 2 old Wii-motes.

Yep, sounds like it. The white "B" means that the Toshiba stack is installed correctly and ready for devices. Plus you got other wiimotes working. That Wiimote+ wouldn't happen to be a 3rd party wiimote, would it?
