Hey All. This is my first time posting in these forums, so if I've made any mistakes, or need to give more info, just let me know
I'm having a problem with my WiiMotes where while connected to my PC through Bluetooth (I have a Targus Bluetooth 4.0 Dual-Mode Micro USB Adapter), I can connect them to Dolphin fine, and it'll stay connected when I start up a game, but once it's up, it usually lasts until about the title screen, or a bit before and then the WiiMote stops being responsive. None of the buttons do anything. Sometimes Dolphin will note that it's not connected in the bottom status bar, some times it won't. When this happens, the WiiMote doesn't turn off or on, it's lights don't flicker, it still shows as Player 1 and Windows still has it in bluetooth devices
The WiiMotes I've tried it on:
Old school white WiiMote that came with the system years ago, no Advanced Motion things
Spartan Advanced Motion Built in WiiMote
Both with and without WiiChucks
This doesn't seem to happen when I try to use them on my Wii itself, but that's more because my Sensor Bar isn't working, and until I get it working it's just really hard to navigate the channels page. That being said, on the Wii the menu's are still responsive to buttons, such as home and the page next and page back buttons
I initially encountered the problem on the Windows Bluetooth Stack, but I've since then installed the Toshiba Bluetooth stack, and made it accept my WiiMotes, but the issue still occurs. Neither of my WiiMotes come up as -TR on their bluetooth name
Has anybody got any suggestion? I've tried rechargeable and standard AA batteries, I've made sure it's charged and all that, so I'm at a loss here. I'm also using Dolphin 4.0 from the official website
Thanks
Gareth
