Wii mote connected by does not respond in game.

Its been a while since I emulated wii but before hand, the wii remotes worked just fine. I'm using the same bluetooth dongle from before and wii remotes and they are able to connect just fine but when it comes to actually using them in game, (in my case Skyward Sword) it immediately says that they are disconnected and to press "A" to continue and reconnect. I Press A but it does not do anything in just sits there but the game did not crash either. I've attempted to fix this by reconnecting it via wiimote menu and after doing so it still does not fix the issue.
