Hello entire Dolphin Community!

I have just recently come to be interested in buying myself a Wii-remote and Wii sensor bar to use with the Dolphin Emulator.

Could someone help me with acquiring the correct ones since I live in Sweden and I am uneasy on ordering from Amazon US (shipping fees etc).
However, I am able to buy from Amazon UK or preferably Swedish sites.

- So what exact Wii-remotes are recommended ( i want one with Motion plus inside) , Is the Original Nintendo Wii-remote recommended?
- there are many sensor bars out there, which one should I buy, I want one that works perfectly either wireless or USB, Depends on how long a wireless one lasts on batteries!

My system specs are: I hope I can run emulations without any hiccups , anyone with the same setup that has experience?
Operating System: Windows
Processor/CPU: Intel i7-3770k @ 3.50GHZ
Video Card/GPU: GeForce GTX 580
Memory/RAM: 8
Dolphin Revision Currently Using: 4.0-1871 - x64

I did come across this guy´s post: with his recommended setup.
https://teksyndicate.com/videos/wiiplacement-video-replace-your-wii-pc

but then I found this recommendation of Wii sensor bars on some forum:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Duracell-Wireless-Sensor-bar-Wii/dp/B0041Q4172

Which one is better? (I hate lag input or disconnections, so the best Wii sensor is what I want)

All in all:

I need 3 questions answered: // direct links on the right products would be appreciated !!!
Which remote
Which Sensor bar
Which Bluetooth USB?

Much appreciation for any help!

It's highly recommended. 3rd party Wiimotes usually don't work with Dolphin.

Any wireless sensor bar will do the job. Sensor bar is nothing more than a source of light spots. You can even use candles instead :p

The best way to get a sensor bar working is to buy a cheap 3rd party one (that is known to work with an actual Wii), then modify it to run off USB power (which will mean cutting off the existing wire, soldering on a USB lead, then replacing the resistors with weaker ones so the LED banks have the same voltage across them with USB power as they would have with a Wii). This can be a pain if you don't have electronics equipment (and an actual Wii to work out the target voltage across the LEDs), but will mean you have a sensor bar for not much money that will look as if it was made that way in the factory.

Using two candles means you need to have two candles near your screen, which can be a nuisance.

Using a wireless bar can mean you burn through batteries really quickly. Also, only a few of them actually work well, and they're expensive. You're probably going to want rechargeable cells if you go down this route.

There are some USB sensor bars you can buy, however, I don't think we've ever seen anyone actually buy one, so have no idea if they're usually crap, or are pretty reliable.

Finally, Mayflash have a product called a dolphin bar, which shows a Wiimote as an HID-compliant gamepad to games etc. and is supposed to show it as a Wiimote to Dolphin. Unfortunately, it doesn't work with any Dolphin revision from the last 18 months right now (which is odd, as it wasn't released long ago at all), but they're sending one to a developer, and he should be able to fix it. However, it's not sensible for me to say it'll definitely work, as it might not, and it's possible it'll take anywhere between a couple of weeks and 6 months if it does happen. It might not be a good idea to throw money at it until after it works, and that could mean you're without sensor bar for a while.

I gave a pile of advice on this topic yesterday, take a look and see if it's helpful. https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-need-help-pricing-compatibility

Also, the DolphinBar is actually turning out to be pretty damn good, according to delroth and MaJoR – it does four-remote support perfectly, it handles -TR remotes fine without requiring the Toshiba stack, and you can even unplug and replug the thing mid-game and remotes will disconnect and reconnect without a hitch. You just need to wait for the firmware/driver/Dolphin update before it'll work with current Dolphin builds.
