As far as i know the game for some reason is not working with the wiimote.
Even selecting "nothing" in Gamecube settings doesn't fix the problem.
The strange thing is wiimote is actually working untill the first intro movie and then stops responding, this is very very strange.
Usually if a game selects the Gamecube controller as preferred (Castlevania, Tatsunoko VS Capcom) you are not even able to pass Nintendo initial warning screen by pressing "A" on the wiimote unless you first disable the Gamecube controller by selecting "nothing" on it, and this is not the case.
