Hello interwebs. I only just started using Dolphin, and am very pleased so far, but I am having a graphical issue. It is more annoying than game breaking, but I just wanted to see if anyone had run into it before and/or knew a solution. I have a fairly high end PC, so I am running it with all the enhancements maxed out, and it looks quite nice; the problem is a section of the screen towards the bottom that does not seem to be affected by the enhancements. It is still overly bright, blurry and is not coming through at the higher resolution (4x Native). I have tried all the different setting combinations I can think of and have had no luck. I'll leave a screenshot and hope for the best. Cheers.

Hey all, not sure if this is the right place to post... I can't seem to get my game [MH Tri] to run at 100%. It always seems to go at 80-90% [Speaking about VPS here], giving me a slower game [ around 20-24 FPS] and tons of audio crackling/ problems. I've got a solid gaming rig and I've got the OC settings maxed out [and my CPU is OC'd to 4.3GHz]. I'm running a Desktop with Win 10 64-bit and a Nvidia GTX 960, can't seem to figure out what I need to do to get this game running smoothly at 100%. Any help would be immensely appreciated, as I've been fiddling with the settings for days, and I'm tearing my hair out over this as this was one of my favorites on the Wii... I don't seem to have issues with other titles, really, but I've mostly only tested GC games, so no surprise there.

Thanks in advance.

Putting this here in case people come searching: Dolphin version 5.0-540 breaks the bloom-disabling patch (called "Bloom OFF"), at least under OpenGL; this game doesn't work at all under D3D on my PC.

Potentially silly question: have you tried both OpenGL and Direct 3D backends?

Thanks for the reply!

I have tried both, and Direct3D seems to work better in general. Thanks, though!

Hi. Just started using Dolphin and this is the 1st game I tried emulating. Works great except for the bloom problem, but that's not why I'm posting.
However I noticed that whenever I use the greatsword, I cannot do a standing weapon draw and I start charging it to a level 1 charge as if I'm holding the [attack] button on my Logitech Gamepad. Tried mapping it to different buttons on the gamepad, same thing. Tried mapping it to the keyboard, same thing.

Is there a setting I'm missing here? Or is it just how the GS works in this version of the game?
Thanks.

I have the game working on my Wii but not working on my laptop, I'm sure I dumped the game right since Rune Factory Frontier works fine. The game only crashes when talking to a vendor and going into their menu. It doesn't crash when speaking to junior and going through his stockpile menu, but does crash when trying to get in the buying/forge menu of the blacksmith, outfitter, and herb lady at the pier.

Couldn't find out how to edit my post so I'm just going to reply to it. Couldn't fix the crashing and I had the bloom problem on other versions of dolphin until I got to 4.02. So I got it working on my laptop now.

I just created a Modifed Online/Offline quest which allow us to obtains every item which we cannot have from previous modified files. I also adjust monster's level in all Online quest so you can complete those quest alone and still make it challenging.

Instruction :
1. Download file in download link and extract it. We'll use files inside Main File folder.
2. Create a back up iso file to make sure you always have a clean version.
3. Download WIIScrubber, open it, load MH3 iso file.
4. Expand partition 1 -> 05 -> Right Click on quest00_eng -> Choose Replace -> Choose quest00_eng.bin on Step 1. WIIScrubber should do the rest. Do the same thing to replace com_data.rso, lobby_data.rso, main.dol. When it's done, close WIIScrubber.
5. Now you have a modified iso file that can access all online content. Open it with dolphin, play it, test it.
6. Remember, you need to cheat that I mentioned earlier to make all weapon, armor and upgrade available at the shop. Open Dolphin, Right Click on the game, choose Properties, Navigate to Gecko Codes tab, find and turn on those two cheat. If those codes are not available, click on Download Codes (WiiRD Database). On Dolphin, click Config and turn on Enable Cheats. Remember, only turn it on whenever you need to purchase or upgrade stuff, otherwise, turn it off.
7. Contact me if you have any problem or advise

Thank all!!!

Hi! Tried your quests, but I found a problem. Every small monster is gone! Only big monsters are there. I know this was posted long time ago, so I am asking if anyone fixed the quests. Its seems that quest file contains some debug code so all small monsters vanished. And when I try to open with the Quest Editor, some quests returns a "Range Check Error" message, so I cannot edit them Sad
I am using PAL version. Regards
