Yes, it is normal to get a low framerate with the configuration you are using.
To make it faster, either change "Auto (Window Size)" to 1x, 2x, or 2.5x or lower the 4xSSAA. Auto (Window Size) uses sets the Internal Resolution to the size of your window.
I just changed to 1x the internal resolution and turned off the anti-aliasing and it did not change my fps a bit, its still around 20.
Maybe i cant get it to work better. I recently (and i mean like 5 hours ago) istalled the 4.0.2 dolphin and it did slow down a bit more than with the 4.0-768 that i had before, maybe ill go back to that version. Edit: I changed to the 4.0-768 and it works pretty well around 25 an 30 fps most of the time. What would you reccomend me to upgrade on my computer so i know what to buy next time i get the money? 02-06-2014, 07:09 AM
Hey guys i have a problem with Monster hunter tri on dolphin 4.x it crashes everytime i choose my save and want to start
i tried several settings but it dont work (on Dolphin 3.5 it works fine) This error comes up: Problemereignisname: BEX64 Anwendungsname: Dolphin.exe Anwendungsversion: 0.0.0.0 Anwendungszeitstempel: 5299030d Fehlermodulname: Dolphin.exe Fehlermodulversion: 0.0.0.0 Fehlermodulzeitstempel: 5299030d Ausnahmeoffset: 000000000063d44c Ausnahmecode: c0000409 Ausnahmedaten: 0000000000000000 Betriebsystemversion: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.48 Gebietsschema-ID: 1031 Zusatzinformation 1: 0f9d Zusatzinformation 2: 0f9d72f0c4addae53476943bc8231604 Zusatzinformation 3: 34c7 Zusatzinformation 4: 34c75cea3ba9c70b6eada5782bcf0ff5 (sorry its on german) 02-07-2014, 04:03 PM
Are you referring to save states (using Shift + F1, F2 for example) or are these in-game saves (save made as if you were playing on a real Wii)? Save states from 3.5 won't transfer over to 4.0 and can cause Dolphin to crash (although it should warn you that the save state is incompatible instead). As far as I know, there is no current method for directly converting 3.5 save states into 4.0 save states.
If you're using in-game saves, can you upload the save for others to see? To find your in-game save on your computer, right-click the game in Dolphin and go to "Open Wii save folder" (Wii-Spielstand-Orden öffnen.. in German). 02-07-2014, 10:22 PM
I used normal saves as the wii do and dolphin 4.0 did new saves as i changed from 3.5 to 4.0.2
(i used 3.5 only to test if mh3 workes on it couse 4.0 didnt)
ok heres my save for mh3 with dolphin 4.0.2
download data.bin Edit: i tried another wii game (tales of symphonia) and it worked without problems deleting the mh3 savegame doesnt solve the problem 02-19-2014, 05:11 AM
