It sees the Wiimote, but it claims that this game needs the Nunchuk, but it's already plugged in. All the buttons seem to work just fine, the IR sensor isn't picked up. Unless I have it set to use my mouse, I can't select my profile to get the game started.

I know the IR works because I tested it with GlovePie. Why isn't the IR sensor working?

*Exactly* same problem just occurred. Now I can't select profile, because "you need Nunchuck for this game" (even though it's already emulated) and can't do anything except 'go back' in selection screen.

Thanks a mill to previous poster though, textures were restored by that method (though game remains unplayable)

Does anyone else have this problem, or it's just us? I haven't tried using Dolphin for any other game yet.

Game is NOT working on the latest build...

Code:
---------------------------
Warning
---------------------------
GFX FIFO: Unknown Opcode (0xf).
This means one of the following:
* The emulated GPU got desynced, disabling dual core can help
* Command stream corrupted by some spurious memory bug
* This really is an unknown opcode (unlikely)
* Some other sort of bug

Dolphin will now likely crash or hang. Enjoy.

Try enabling FIFO BP hack from Properties of the game.

I got this too.

For the pointer - move closer, or farther. It didn't worked for me first, because I was too close to the sensor.

For the nunchuk - Just ignore the warning. Start the game, and you will see its working fine. Wink

About the game (IGN.com)
Utilizing the unique powers of the Nintendo Wii system, Retro Studios once again takes us to the beyond with bounty Hunter Samus Aran.
The Galactic Federation's Base Sector Zero is under attack by Space Pirates. Samus must boot up the generator to restore the defense systems. But at the end of her path, someone awful is waiting for her. The war initiated by Dark Samus and the Space Pirates rages across many planets as they attempt to corrupt each with Phazon seeds. Players use the Wii Remote and Nunchuk to explore alien landscapes, hunt for weapons and information, and destroy the seeds. Saving the planets from Corruption isn't enough, though. Eventually, players must take down Samus' mortal enemy, Dark Samus. Besides using the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers to pull off amazing feats like aiming and blasting in midair or at a full run, players also will have an array of different weapons at their disposal.

Emulation Status & Speed
    What works:
  • Pretty much everything about the graphics, though there are few errors you mainly dont notice.
  • Sound works partially, sometimes the sound that's supposed to play doesnt appear, also sometimes the sound goes into loud, scratchy things

    What does not work:
  • Pushing the Wiimote forward is not yet able to get bound in the Wiimote Configuration for those who use the Mouse&Keyboard. You can use this script for that while it is getting added.
  • Scanning does not work yet.

    Emulation Speed
  • The game requires a very good CPU, though it's not that demanding as it's looking like :p

Additional Information
I've got to mention that this game crashes randomly. Not often, but sometimes... Also don't expect for anything to play yet, Metroid Prime 3-Emulation is still in developement.

So what's the status on this game? I've gotten it up and running but I'm still getting frequent crashes.
