For your settings :

Don't disable EFB Copies.
Let "Scaled EFB copy" checked.
Uncheck "Cache Display List" and "Disable Fog".
Don't limit your Framelimit to 60

Hi, I did up the V-core - I read a few articles online and even asked a few questions on forums. Whenever I go above 3.9ghz I just get a blue screen during windows boot.

I followed a few guides too and tried a few different settings, however it would appear 3.9ghz is the limit for my machine.

I have tried Vbeam emulation too with no success.

Vader I haven't tried the unchecking limit to 60fps, I didn't think it would make s difference but I tried the rest. I shall give the 60fps option a try and get back.

Re-enabling fog just makes it slower still, The last settings i tried, I just selected EVERY option that said 'speed up' or increases speed in the description without the care for glitches or looks.

Sorry for the late reply, work has been hectic.

That's strange man. Anyway, you were right, that everything above 3.9GHZ is unstable. A bluescreen is a sign for an unstable overclock.

Well, it's not really recommended and not supported by us, but if you really want more speed, you could try to use an old Dolphin revision. But note, r6505, r6515 etc. might contain bugs. As I said it before, it's not recommended, but it's worth a try. Wink

The old revisions are fastest with DX9 backend up to 6554 but there were nasty Jit chashes
The newest revisions reclaim their with DX9 after Rodolfo's Graphic_Update branch *as fast as old revs
Disable Idle Skipping, it's the only game i know so far which is faster without it than with it
Use VBeam hack to gain some extra speed, completely stable in this game
And, yea, of course i've overclocked my Core i5 2500K to 5,0GHz, but in your case you need new motherboard something with Z68 or Z77 to achieve high turbo multipliers
All this stuff was for speed
Now to avoid the blurry square in the left upper corner use DX11 plugin *only* DX11 is a way slower than DX9 in this game but looks much prettier
there are some little blinking texture problems on planet Elysia when you looking on faraway objects to avoid it you should use PerPixelDepth
Also game still suffers from music stuttering and cracking noises sometimes, i used modiffied*by myself* Xenoblade HLE Patch 3.1, and hey, it actually helps
And the last issue with thermal visor, it requires Safe Texture Cache increasing from Fast to Normmal to update correctly

Well, following all this rules i've completed this game several times by now, and it's perfect
