MMU to avoid crashes. Disc Transfer may avoid crashes on loading screens too. I'm playing this game perfectly with Dolphin 3.0 btw Big Grin

btw: Well, i've never had crashes so far. I still think, the two settings are not needed Tongue I've read somewhere that the MMU slow games down.

You might be using a more recent build. It might be better. I don't know. I personaly stopped to 3.0 for this game. MMU is slow but with the Speed Hack you can expect a correct speed with a correct CPU

I run these games full speed almost all the time with my lap g73jh - i7 920xm @ 3.2ghz

Not fake.

The information I provided might not be OPTIMAL, but I run the game perfectly with 4 times the resolution with the configuration I shown.

Utilizing the unique powers of the Nintendo Wii system, Retro Studios once again takes us to the beyond with bounty Hunter Samus Aran.
The Galactic Federation's Base Sector Zero is under attack by Space Pirates. Samus must boot up the generator to restore the defense systems. But at the end of her path, someone awful is waiting for her. The war initiated by Dark Samus and the Space Pirates rages across many planets as they attempt to corrupt each with Phazon seeds. Players use the Wii Remote and Nunchuk to explore alien landscapes, hunt for weapons and information, and destroy the seeds. Saving the planets from Corruption isn't enough, though. Eventually, players must take down Samus' mortal enemy, Dark Samus. Besides using the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers to pull off amazing feats like aiming and blasting in midair or at a full run, players also will have an array of different weapons at their disposal.

Emulation Status & Speed
    Issues:
  • Turn on "Copy EFB to ram" to scan objects.
  • Right-Click on MP3, go to Properties and select "FIFO BP Hack" to avoid a crash when launching the game.

    Emulation Speed
  • The game requires a very good CPU, though it's not that demanding as it's looking like :p

Additional Information
I've got to mention that this game crashes randomly. Not often, but sometimes...

hi im new but ive tried playing my game metroid prime 3 and every time i save in the begining it freezes 2 min. after
is there any way to bypass that PLEASE HELP my wii is broke so i cant play the game disk k thanks.

Hi, I wanted to finally replay the game in HD and it's all fine, but in Bryo, when you have to upgrade the ship, the cutscene doesn't end: the ship is meant to arrive and land but that doesn'happen, I'm blocked looking at the sky.

Is there anyone who have encountered this problem? I'm using the EU version.

As an alternative solution, have you a savegame just after that part?

I tested out a bunch of different builds and couldn't get this game running as well as I'd hoped, but I thought I'd post some results of how it runs on my PC in case it's useful to anyone.

I don't know if anyone ever figured out what causes this but during gameplay there's what looks like a stuck pixel right in the middle of the screen... it seems to be there regardless of Dolphin build or settings.

I haven't tested every single build but v3.0-77 through v3.0-690 all seem to have this issue with the upper left quadrant rendering in a lower resolution. Possibly related to having an i5 or i7 processor?

The first build after 3.0 that does not have the issue with the upper left quadrant is v3.0-710, however the audio randomly starts to loop. This happens with both LLE and HLE. V3.0-710 through v3.0-735 all seem to be pretty much the same in this regard.

R7719 doesn't have problems with audio looping or the blurry top left quadrant, and with OpenGL is by far the fastest build I've tried. Unfortunately it crashes/freezes pretty frequently.
