Your PC is very good, it should run without a problem. My PC ran 60 fps almost all the time (except in a few places) and it's worse than yours. The only thing different is that my core i7 was overclocked to 4.1 Ghz, but yours is almost there. I used this build Dolphin 3.0 -199 i was using the default config, only used EFB to RAM when i was scaning something. Good Luck there. 01-14-2012, 01:46 PM

First, I seem to have solved at least a little the grapple lasso problem with the emulated wiimote. Set, in the nunchuk configuration, the Up key in Swing to, for example, letter "T". Also, set the forward key of Tilt to "T" as well (it doesn't matter wich key you use, as long as you use the same key for both settings). Now, do the following: Press "T" and keep it pressed until the exact moment the grapple lasso grapples. In that exact same instant, release "T" and press it again. It doesn't work %100 of the times, but a little %85-%90 will work if done correctly.
Second, I had previosly a Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4 GHz, 8 MB caché L2; a mother DP35DP; 2 GB of RAM; and a GeForce 8800 GS XFX. Yesterday, I changed the Graphics Card for a GeForce N560GTX MSI. And, oddly, the game didn't run any faster. It runs exactly as fast as with the previous Graphics Card, at 18-30 FPS. I have the same problem with Mario Kart Double Dash, it works at 25-45 FPS, as it did with the previous Graphics Card. What could it be the problem? I thought a better Graphics Card would boost at least a little the emulator.

No, graphic cards will not speed uo the emulator (only if you have a really bad one), because the emulador is more CPU demanding. If you increase your clock it will go faster, but changing the GPU it will only be affective if you want to use the AA.

But you see, the emulator only uses half of the four cores, meaning that it uses two cores, instead of the four. And, when I use the OpenMP Texture Decoder, the game doesn't speed up at all, it's like the option doesn't have any effect at all. Why could that be?
EDIT: Also, somewhere in the forum, I red that the minimun Graphics Card required to use the emulator is a GeForce 8800 GS, the one I previously had. Shouldn't the games speed up, at least a little?

Dolphin supports only 2 cores because of thread reasons (Only reasonable splitting is between game logic and graphics to separate cores). CPU is still the bottleneck in most games. OpenMP texture decoder isn't really much faster. (Think it's because the decoding is such a small part of the CPU usage)

For me the game crashes unless Enable dual core is unchecked. When I finally do manage to get it to play it runs at what seems to be half speed. Seems really buggy.
Running it on 3.0-371 I5-2500k @ 4.5ghz 4GB RAM 560TI @ 1000mhz clocks OC What settings should I try? Should I try a different version? Apologies if this has been asked I have read some of the thread but not all. 01-17-2012, 04:05 AM
