Well you can certainly see more than I can. This fucking overkill bloom is so bright that I can hardly navigate. I got to the first save point though, so I don't have to watch the freaking opening and do the training over again.
Yes I just repeated my last post. Does anyone have any clue as to how to fix it? Is there some setting I need to change?

I tried the 2.0 ver but the screen went black after i jumped up from the hole in the tutorial. What should I do ???
That happened to me too the second time I tried playing the game. It randomly happens I guess. I THINK if you zoom in to first person (if you can at that point in the tutorial) then it might fix it but I doubt that's true. Just an idea though. Do you have the horrible bloom problem too? I think they might be related. I'm using version 2.0.

I'm using DX11, just disable the Safe Texture Cache, enable CPU - EFB access and EFB copy to Texture, the Bloom problem then disappearedTongue

I can't very well use DX11 without a DX11 card, right? I've got Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit so my OS meets the requirements but I only have a GTS 250, which only supports up to DX10. I disabled Safe Texture Cache already because it actually seemed slower with it on, and I usually always have EFB Access and EFB Copy to Texture on. So I guess this DX11 thing solves it? I dunno where to get it though. D:

enable CPU - EFB access is not necessary,it will slowdown the performance. It's only use for 2 games : Zelda TP and SMG(lens flare in Zelda and pull star, yoshi's tongue in SMG)
Just play with directx 11 plugin and EFB copy to Texture
P.S: this thread's owner should add the setting in the first page

The thing is I don't know how to acquire this DX11 plugin. I checked the main thread and my GPU is apparently supported so I was happy about that but I guess I need to download the June 2010 runtime before I can use it? I was gonna download Mamario's latest build cause someone said his builds include DX11 but Mediafire isn't loading for me today so I'm just using the same old version 2.0.

PS: Disabling Enable CPU - EFB Access had absolutely no effect so it doesn't matter if it's enabled or not. That might differ for DX11 though, but for DX9 I get the same speeds, which aren't fantastic, but it's tolerable. I just need to get DX11 working so I can hopefully fix the bloom issue so the rest of this game isn't an acid trip.

you don't need a DirectX11 card to use the DX11 plugin. and you probably can't see and use it, because you need to install the latest DirectX (june2010)

Like I said I checked the main thread and saw that my card was supported. I installed the June SDK/Runtime and restarted my PC but it's still not there.

Lol, like I said I'm stuck with plain old 2.0 because Mamario uploads all his builds on Mediafire, and that site isn't loading for me for some reason. I guess that would explain my issue.

I have a GTS 250, which I'm 100% positive has DX10 support, and was listed in the main DX11 thread as compatible.

Hey if I upload the Dolphin folder and post it for you would that be okay with the site rules and stuff? My Metroid is running very smoothly now, and its a Win32 build...so if you want I can upload it and give you the link?
