There are three now, or maybe im confused. Not sure really. Anyway, still cant launch games. Tried clean portable install with generic system menú. But no luck. Not sure if there is something else I can do to find the problem.
Still cant load games from wii menú. Not sure what else to try.

Edit Reason: BT passthrough issues are with NSMBW, not MKW
)
I have similar problems. I can occasionally launch games from the disc channel, but more often it fails. I also found that with my Wii's original NAND imported, I can launch Mii Channel as a WAD from the Dolphin GUI. However, if I go into the Wii Menu and accept the EULA to turn off WC24, then whenever I try to launch the Mii Channel as a WAD, it launches the Wii Menu instead.
I simply gave up. I have too many little problems like these and for now I'm simply trying to get stability on BT passthrough in NSMBW, more consistent launching of MP3 from MPT, and deal with occasional freezes in MKW when loading a track.

Completely uninstall the usbdk driver and use WinUSB instead from Zadig, the remnants can cause issues with ES_Launch, which is what you're describing.

I can give WinUSB a try again, although I should note that I've been using libusbK, also from Zadig, not usbdk. I did install usbkd before when trying to sort out NSMBW issues, so perhaps indeed there are some remnants of it somewhere giving me trouble. That driver is notoriously difficult to deal with, and fully uninstall. I shouldn't have installed it but I was desperate.
I'll figure out the best way to completely remove it.

Launching wads is some kind of hit n miss here.
Some wads launchs fine, others launch to wii menú. Other sometimes launchs fine and sometimes the same wad goes to wii menú. Changed from libusbk to winusb, at least the disc channel is still not working, cant read disc message. Not sure about hit n miss launching wads, Will have to test. 02-09-2019, 03:00 PM
I've been playing around with WinUSB (libwdi, installed through Zadig 2.4) and have found pros and cons vs. using the recommended libusbK:
- I can always launch MP3 from MPT but: - The pointer is lost sometimes in the menu (it's fine in game) - I am able to launch the Nintendo Masterpieces from SSBB - I am able to launch some channels from the Wii Menu - Mii Channel goes to black screen when launched from Wii Menu - Perhaps a bit more unstable on NSMBW - MKW is yet to hang before loading a track, after many tests - No apparent difference in the other games I've tried I'll keep using WinUSB for now.

Changing from zadig libusbk to zadig winusb improved a lot channel launch. Opera browser was imposible to launch using libusbk, always crashed or just launch the wii menú. Now with winusb launchs fine. And also Im not getting the wii menú instead of the wad launched that happen too often while using libusbk. And can go back and foward From wii menú, to shop channel, wii menú, opera browser, wii menú, mii channel, wii menú, etc. This was a crash, crash and crash nightmare with libusbk. Disc channel still a no go. |
