The Wii Menu is always crashing, if i run a Wii Game, and press Home to return to Wii
Menu, the Emulator sometimes Crashes in some games.

Crystal Defenders. Arkoniod Plus, Bejeweled 2, World of Goo, NES Virtual Console Games
and many other Crash the Emulator when launching through the Wii Menu. (latest NTSC-U Version and ios58)

N64 Virtual Console Games says "This Channel Cannot be used".

Quote:World of Goo

Sorry for being irrelevant and off topic, but World of Goo for Wii! Now with dolphin I may have a way to play it as the PC version won't run on my system (for no good reason).

EDIT by neobrain: Makes for your first warning then, I guess :/

lol neobrain Big Grin

Anyway on-topic (you didn't think I was going to go off topic and get a warning did you Big Grin) the wii menu pretty much doesn't do anything Undecided (imo), but I BELIVE that if you have the PAL menu and a PAL game you can load it from the wii menu, I could be wrong of course tho Tongue

I can't load a pal game from a pal menu, but I don't have a full nand dump, only what there have been updates for released with my games (everything I have has been extracted from the update partition of games), so it may be the lack of full dump rather than lack of possibility. I have read that others have got games to boot from the disk channel, but the save system hasn't worked once they have, so it isn't properly functional under any circumstances.

IIRC you'll need an ES_LAUNCH branch build to start games from Wii menu. Not really sure if that ever worked at all though.

I am using latest Fifobusy build, can't find any ES_Launch builds, some games do launch through the Wii Menu, like Sonic 4 and Bubble Bobble, but some crash the emulator
like N64 Games, Crystal Defenders, e.c.t

The Network branch fixes the Setting options of the Wii Menu.
