(Wiki) Mario Super Sluggers (known in Japan as Super Mario Stadium Family Baseball) is a sports video game for the Wii developed by Namco Bandai and published by Nintendo. It was previously known by the working title Super Mario Stadium Baseball. It is part of the Mario Sports series, and the sequel to Mario Superstar Baseball for the Nintendo GameCube. Mario Super Sluggers was released in Japan on June 19, 2008 and in North America on August 25, 2008.

This game isn't playable yet on dolphin as it only shows a black screen

The NTSC version works fine for me, other than it being really slow on my rig. This is with version R4869 - 64-Bit version.

I will add this as a official thread but there is a real lack of information on setup of dolphin and conflict between playable/nonplayable.

I'll start a new thread in a day or so if this one does not end up working out. Maybe the original thread starter can post his config so I can see what he did wrong.

I used DX9, Framelimit off, enable dual core, enable idle skipping, safe texture cache, and the game was fully playable.

However, it is extremely slow. When you turn off STC it becomes playable but textures become weird and distorted.

After turning on safe texture cache, everything is in clear graphics, though gameplay is a bit too slow to be very playable.

Nah, if you don't use STC it's actually playable, even in-game. Just some of the texture graphics (like scoreboard, character selection) are messed up and blocky, but it doesn't hinder gameplay. The speed difference is huge, at the sacrifice of some graphical perfection. It's actually almost double faster without STC.

I took that 1.min ago. It says 75% speed but it was completely fluid

EDIT - nevermind, this game is fully playable. I had framelimit on auto actually. With off it works fully even with safe texture cache. Yoshi stadium is the only place where it lags a bit but even that is playable. Also multiple players works.

Check this thread; it shows settings that would work. http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/thread-9393.html?highlight=Mario+Super+Sluggers
