mario has seen jumping on grass and toads lately, so not much time left for karting
[Wii] Mario Kart Wii
|
I've been spending the past couple of hours trying to get Mario Kart Wii to work on the latest revision (64-bit). I guess I'm getting there?
I've been able to get into the game and get my Wiimote working (which is pretty freaking amazing), but I get the below graphics: I'm using the DX9 plugin. The OpenGL one gives me very horrible graphics to both the characters in the menus, and in game. In game is almost all black. Any ideas? My system: 15" Late 2009 MBP 2.66GHz Core 2 Duo 4GB DDR3 1066 9600M GT (256MB) Windows 7 Pro x64 UPDATE: Switched to OpenGL, changed a few things, and here's where I am: The level is still inverted for some reason. Frame rates are between 30 and 60. The clouds like to change around a lot. I do get a better frame rate using DX9, but OpenGL doesn't have as many problems. Oh, there are no 3D things in the menu. 11-19-2009, 10:53 AM

Alright, so R3778 has perfect OpenGL graphics (no glitches whatsoever), but the frame rate doesn't seem too good. Well it's always above 40, but it seems stuttery. And the levels are still inverted.

Try disable Optimise Quanlitizer see if it works. That exact same thing happen to me with the previous dolphin 3xxx, i disable that and it works. With the my current 4525 32 bit it works just fine no need to disable anything. Hope that helps good luck 11-19-2009, 11:49 AM
I already deleted the ISO as well as the files for Dolphin. Really cool stuff, but too much tweaking for my liking. Was fun though!

Too much tweaking? It's an emulator, that's how they all are. This one requires no more than any other. Please don't post any self serving messages in a thread like this.

oops...under that last post of mine I wrote something but it seems it didn't show up O_o
What I wrote was: enable EFB to GL texture (hack) to get rid of that black box at the map
