dx plugin is now perfect. i only tried multiplayer though and its slow for me...(but faster than ogl)

huh? I still got the blurry upper left corner stuff in r4506...or am I missing some special setting?

what i did was in game properties i unchecked disable copy to efb and

doesnt apply here. if i disable efb the blurred goes away, along with all the bloom effect, also the old black box + noradar reappears in the bottom right 11-08-2009, 08:00 AM

Yep, I'm convinced now, DX plugin does not emulated Single Player. All you get are overlaid boxes of the image throughout the display despite any of the pointless settings posted by Cashdude. No offense man, I just see no benifit to using those over 100% default settings. With the DX plugin however, MP seems to work fine.
So that is where we all stand right now. God, this has been annoying...people saying it's fine when SP is unplayable. Unless some of you trully can get SP working fine, in which case please help the rest of us use what must be some crazy settings to get it working. To sum up (as of rev. 4510): DX plugin: SP unplayable MP fine OpenGL plugin: All modes "near" perfect (aside from some menu glitches). Need a good machine though for full speed. There do we all agree on that?
