PLEASE do not use that method of identifying git versions. >_< Those of us that used SVN revisions (such as r5842 or whatever) are very confused by that. Just use 3.5-1691 or just 1691. Put an r in front of it and you'll get weird looks.

For reference, please don't use "1691" either as it's not clear what base version this refers to. If one looks at this thread in a year it could mean both 3.5-1691 or 4.0-1691. If one doesn't know that 3.0 didn't have that many commits, it could mean 3.0-1691, too.

Use 3.5-1691 instead and include the git hash ideally.

It seems there is a bug with DX11 backend with latest versions of dolphin. I tried 3.5-1772, 3.5-1857 and 3.5-1867. Using DX11 i only get a black screen past the first screen with wii warnings. You can still hear sounds and play the game but you just can't see anything but a black sreen. It doesn't happen with other backends.

Using 3.5-1691 i don't have that problem.

In fact it seems that all wii games crash with dx9 backend at a moment or another, while all gamecube games work fine with it... On zelda skyward sword it randomly crash with dx9 after couples of minutes.

But back to Mariokart wii, am i the only one getting black screen after wii warnings screen with dx11 backend on latest revisions ?

Ok, i just find the cause of the issue with dx11. If i select any value of anti aliasing, i get a black screen. If i put anti-aliasing option on "none", i finally get my screen back to normal. Is it specific on my computer or does someone else can reproduce this ?

For info, i have radeon 7850 with catalyst 13.8 beta driver.

Your problems with D3D11 are documented on the issue tracker; it's not just you. https://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu/issues/detail?id=6482

I'm getting this error every time right before a race starts. I'm using 3.5-2722 and my pc specs are in my profile. Changing the audio backend had no effect.

Try redumping your iso. If you don't know what redumping (= dumping your iso again) is, you shouldn't be asking on our forums.
