It seems that if it's only emulating the menu, that there's not that much load
for the computer to lag like that.

you can see a video of each cup in menu backround, i suspect it's demanding for the emulator

Should be possible. Just modify the Mario Kart Wii ISO with the custom tracks and start the ISO through Dolphin.

Ok, so it's been a while since I've played with dolphin, and I lost my old account details... but I've setup 3.5 and wanted to get back in mario kart through my arcade. Well, I have a better system these days, and I can't gett it running 100% during the game at all.

Not sure what to do..

AMD Phenom XII unlocked to X4 B50
GTX470
4G RAM
W7 x86
Dolphin 3.5 (latest stable I believe)

Not sure on why it's lagging like this, but I'm usually running around 35fps or so, about 60% in game. No fun on the kart.

1st - Overclock your CPU

Your CPU is not strong enough for 4 player match -> Core i5-3570k @ 4.2GHz is needed if u want fullspeed.
