I found a fix for slowdowns ingame with last 3.5.2223 version (whereas wii-network branch 3.0.712 was fast but with the above "Audio issues") :

I had to tick "VBeam Speed Hack" on JD4 properties, once ticked :
- the "start cinematics" and menu are then very slow
- but the ingames runs fast !!

(and I haven't encountered sound errors after a few songs played - this may be worth adding to JD4 page)

Didn't work for me, I used the same version as you mentioned, but the slowdowns ingame continue.

I use dolphin 4.0 and the game is going slow, that did not happen with the dolphin 3.5, but the problem with this is that it froze shortly after starting the music

Im having issues with JD4. Ive tried using older, newer master branch versions of Dolphin, yet some songs, like Call me maybe (whole song is too slow), Love you like a love song(while switching background from light to dark), On the floor, are not as fast as they should be. Anyone experiencing similar issue and has been able to fix it?

I have tried almost every version of Dolphin such as network-3.0-712-x64, dolphin 3.5-200, 3.5-2143-x64, Dolphin 4.0.2, dolphin-wiispeak-4.0-607-x64 etc. But they all have some problems, the speed of versions under 4.0 is good, some songs have graphic problems, such as the song "call me maybe", as we know, the dancer is at first on a small screen of cellphone, but the screen never streches to the full screen as it suppose. Above 4.0, the graphic problems seem to be solved, but the song "call me maybe"(the cellphone screen can become full) becomes very slow while other songs are OK.
I'm not sure whether I have stated clearly. Sorry.
My laptop CPU :i5-3230M @ 2.60GHz, RAM:4g,Nvidia GeForce GT 640M 2 GB. Perhaps my laptop is too weak to play this game.

Yes, it is. From the 5 games of the main serie, Just Dance 4 is the most demanding, my i7 3630QM running at 3.2GHz can't handle some songs (like Call me Maybe) with the latest stable release too... You could try testing the latest development version with OGL, it may speedup things, especially running with the latest nVidia/AMD drivers on Windows (if you have a nVidia/AMD GPU)...
Avell A70 MOB: Core i7-11800H, GeForce RTX 3060, 16 GB DDR4-3200, Windows 11 (Insider Preview)
ASRock Z97M OC Formula: Pentium G3258, GeForce GT 440, 16 GB DDR3-1600, Windows 10 (22H2)

I see. Thanks for your reply. Is it possile to optimize or fix the program(dolphin) to solve this problem (I know nothing about the programming)? Since other songs are perfectly OK.

There is nothing to "fix", Dolphin already emulate this game accurately. The songs that are slow (e.g. Call Me Maybe) generally have a lot more graphical effects (like the floating icons in the background, the screen movement/flashes, the moving cell phone screen, etc) than the other songs, thus, requiring more CPU power, this is why lowering the graphics doesn't improve: it sounds a bit strange, but in Dolphin a lot of the video emulation part is handled by the CPU, even having a dedicated GPU. Right now, the only thing you can do is getting a better computer (with a faster processor) or wait, Dolphin is being constantly optimized, in future you may be able to run JD4 full speed with your current processor...
