I heard a long time ago that Wii games would work on Android but the emulator didn't recognize or handle input correctly, thus, you can't really play Wii games; however, I did a search and saw some videos of Dolphin running Wii games on Android and there seems to be movement recognized.

My main question is, is input fixed, and now Wii games work and are playable with controls registering?

Bonus question: Has the issue been fixed with Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes? I tried a build several months back and the game crashes right after the logo and never gets to the title screen/in-game. I'd appreciate it if anyone can explain why this might be happening too, or what the problem may be!

Wiimote controls aren't wired up. Those videos you saw were probably Wii games that support controlling with a gamecube controller.
Games that require MMU emulation aren't fixed.

Ah, I see! Thanks for explaining. But MGS:TTS runs fine on Dolphin x86-64 on all three major PC OSes.

Do you mean MMU emulation isn't fixed on the Android port, same being with Wii input?

The x86_64 CPU cores support MMU emulation.
I haven't worked on any MMU support in the ARMv7 or AArch64 cores.
