This game requires Real XFB to prevent the screen from flickering.

Graphics Options > Hacks > External Frame Buffer = Real

Thanks for your reply, I tried this setting as you suggested, but the game still does not boot. Do you know of anything else I can try?

I guess you should try to dump your game again

I have dumped the game again as you suggested, and it still will not boot.

Any updates on why this game won't boot? The wiki is incorrect says it is playable all the way through (4 stars)

The Wiki is correct. This game works just fine. You're probably doing something wrong

I'm also getting black screen booting this title. Partition checks say everything's ok.

Tested on build 5.0 6823, D3D all defaults. Also tried random older versions up to 3.5, and same thing.

EDIT: After 30 seconds, I get tons of invalid read errors, but still getting black screen
I7 7700, Zotac 980 Amp Extreme Edition, 16 GBs DDR4
Always using latest dev version unless noted
