Just test it out. If the game crashes, try Dolphin 3.0.

helloooo.
i have an issue. i recently acquired the emulator and this game for it. everything so far works perfectly fine, and i'd like to continue moving along with the game but i can't seem to do so because i'm having an issue with equipping my tools. i don't use the wii mote or anything for this, so i'm just using my keyboard. i tried changing the keys and etc but that didn't help. i open my bag and press A on whatever tool, and it'll select. i'll press it again and nothing will happen. i've tried pressing A and then pressing all the other buttons on my keyboard but that still doesn't help. thanks in advance. 06-28-2012, 03:31 AM

Did you read the rules? Downloading gc/wii games is illegal and not supported by us. 06-28-2012, 03:38 AM

You were asked to check a box when you registered that directly tells you that downloading games is against the rules and that you would be banned for talking about it. I advise you to pay attention in the future. It doesn't get much clearer than that.
Asus Laptop: K53TA
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-Bit - SP1 CPU: AMD Llano A6-3400M, Quad-Core, 1.4GHz-2.6GHz (Overclocked) GPU: AMD Radeon HD6650M, 1GB GDDR3 (Catalyst 13.1) RAM: Samsung 4GB DDR3-1333
Is my CPU the cause for why I have 13~16 FPS outside my house? And its perfectly fine inside buildings as for I have 29~30 FPS.. You can see the stats of my CPU at the bottom.. I'm also using the default settings of Dolphin 3.0, any suggestions??

Then can you suggest any other motherboards that can use its full potential on Dolphin 3.0.. and another one.. so my CPU is my only problem when it comes to playing Wii Games in the emulator? I've recently borrowed and played my friends Rune Factory Frontier and it works like a charm~.. Got 30FPS in both inside the buildings and outside.. which I can't really complain because of my specs 08-22-2012, 06:43 PM

If you want to play games perfectly, you should get a Z77 MoBo + a Core i5-3570k + a decent CPU cooler (for overclocking to 4.2GHz). And if u want to play games in FullHD, you should buy another GPU (e.g. the GeForce GTX 550 Ti) 08-29-2012, 10:11 PM
Well, I just spent 2 hours trying to get it to have the "Speed" stay at or around 100%, No settings worked, but I did make a discovery... In task manager (Control alt delete menu) Set affinity to a single core, preferably not core 0. Jumps speed to 100% on 3.0.763 (latest right now at least) though frame rate may only be at 5-10, at least its not slowed down, which is what bugged me the most.
(edit) Okay, messed with the settings more.. I think the program is trying to force threading to CPU's when the operating system is doing it automatically, so assigning it to single core in task manager, and keeping dual core enabled speeds it up dramatically, also going to game properties and selecting (solid box) dual core and ignore idle, as well as having them selecting in the config of the emulator seems to speed it up dramatically. I'm having it bounce between 500% and 800% speed, between 10-25 fps, anyone know if there is a spot in the emulator to restrict speed to 100%? lol (edit) Frame limit to 60 = 100% restriction it seems, also, leave limit to fps unchecked. Also, the Affinity setting needs to be changed every Dolphin.exe launch. Though with all these settings, it says 35 fps (avg) at 100% speed, though visually, you can tell its only like 8-12 fps... wonder why that is. |
