Wii - Grand Slam Tennis
[Image: 25tat8l.png]

Using rev4897, must enable safe texture caching, or game is tinted in a green shade. There is no music in the background, but sound plays properly. Hard to play with emulated wiimote as shaking controls sometimes lag behind (needed to hit the ball in the game). A real wiimote would be suggested.

using the latest rev. 4985 ingame just works for one set.

Game hangs when it comes to switch sides.

In addition the font isn't diplayed properly most of the time.
You can also see it on your screenshots.

Single training with the ballmachine
and ingame during one set works fine.

Sometimes the game gets through switching sides
and hangs up at the end of the game.

using OpenGL it hangs up more quick at the switching sides scene.

My sys:
Win 7 64 bit
ATI 4770
4GB RAM
Intel E6600

I already tried all kind of combinations of configs.

The game works without crashes using build 4525 with opengl, copy EFB to texture, dualcore disabled.
Switching safe texture cache off and on while playing temporarily fixes the letters.
Playing the career mode is working but you can't chose a custom name for your character or it will crash.

I have tried alot of builds newer than 4525 but they will all crash randomly when switching sides or at the end of a game. So it seems there was a change shortly after 4525, which causes the random crashes.
Does anyone know how to get the newer builds working without the crashes or how to permanently fix the letter?

I did some more testing. Using build r4771 with the Plugin_VideoDX9.dll from build r4749 i got the best results. It's running at full speed now in d3d9 and no crashes.
By the way, tiger woods 2010 works using the same builds as grand slam tennis and is also crashing using newer builds.

@eta:
I don't think you can play grand slam tennis properly using emulated wiimote. But it's working nice using a real wiimote with motionplus.

thanks man for testing!

but I got some difficulties.

got the 4771 and the 4749 rev.

so just overwrite the newer Plugin_VideoDX9.dll with the old one?
afterwards I can't choose the DX9 Plugin in the drop menu.

EDIT: My mistake. Mixed up x86 with x64 Wink

still using the same settings?
when disabling dual core the game gets too slow. (50-60%)

using the latest rev. 5085 the game still freezes but not that often.
sometimes you can get through a whole game.

I'd rather have no crashes than some. Thats why I'm not using the later builds. Whith dual core enabled It's faster but random crashes again. I'm on a core i7 overclocked to 4,2GHz, i guess thats why it's running fullspeed even in single core mode for me.
