I'm trying to run Rhythm Heaven Fever bc I've been on a rhythm heaven kick and just finished Rhythm Tengoku, but I can't make it past the title screen! I've tried using my Xbox controller, i've tried using the default Kb&M configuration, but nothing i do seems to get me past the "Press A+B!" screen.

I've already made sure that I'm configuring Port 1 and have enabled background input but still nothing! And I know my Xbox Controller works because I was able to configure it just fine, and it works perfectly when playing Melee.

Does anyone have any fixes that i may be missing??

This sounds like you've only configured Gamecube controllers with your Xbox controller. Rhythm Heaven Fever is a Wii game. You have to configure an Emulated Wiimote (to use Kb&M or a USB controller) or connect a real Wiimote via bluetooth.

Nope! I made sure to configure the right thing with both default and custom configurations (i totally see where you drew that conclusion from though, i should've said wiimote 1 instead fo port 1)

I don't have bluetooth on the laptop i'm using tho unfortunately but you're right that would make my life so much simpler in this situation

When you press whatever you have mapped to A and B, do the little boxes light up in Dolphin's configuration window?

Have you tried using Dolphin 5.0? The version that your screenshot is from looks very old...

Oh yeah that's a really good point! I'll try that and get back to you all.
