Hey There! : )
I ran into some problems with my system I was running for almost two years, so I reinstalled my Pc twice the past 2 days. After my first reinstall, Super Mario Galaxy 1 ran like normal without any trouble whatsoever and so did the Metroid Prime Trilogy and the Steam game mentioned down below.
However Today after another reinstall of my PC I ran into multiple issues. These very same issues were also present befor I decided to reinstall my system 2 days ago.
I am using the same dolphin client and 'document' settings in all three cases (before reinstall, 1st reinstall and 2nd reinstall), as I stored these files on my data HDD and copied them back to my System SSD, so they should be the same.
Today, after my 2nd reinstall I have these issues
When starting Super Mario Galaxy 1 I get a blackscreen just showing:
"Entered exclusive fullscreen.
Dolphin OGL Video Backend.
Video Info: Nvidia Corporation, Geforce Gtx 1070/PCIe/SSE2, 4.5.0 NVIDIA 376.33"
When starting Super Mario Galaxy 2 I get several "invalid read from [...] messages":
E.G "Invalid read from 0xb15ea724, PC = 0x8050894c"
When starting MetroidPrime Trilogy my WiiMotes automatically disconnect but I can work around that by refreshing the connection in the dolphin controller settings.
Something else I realised is one of my Steam games "Titan Quest Anniversaty Edition" which worked perfectly on my 1st reinstall attempt, just like my Wii Games did and now on my current second attempt that Steam game shows me nothing more than flashing blackscreens, which it also did on my long running before reinstall system.
My first thought has been that it has something to do with the Microsoft Visual C++ files, but I have properly installed all Versions 2010/2012/2013/2015 as (x86) and (x64) so there should be no room for errror (I suppose?).
I also have installed all needed drivers and windows 7 updates and the most recent NVIDIA graphics driver.
At this point I can not think of any reason why it worked on my 1st reinstall, and did not before or now with my 2nd reinstall, as it didnt change any hardware. It drives me insane.
My system specs are shown in my profile and I am using the Dolphin Bar by Mayflash.
This is my first post, so I am really sorry if my post's structure lacks in style or is posted at the wrong spot - work in progress
