That's probably the ES_LAUNCH function, Forblaze. There is no current fix for what you are experiencing.

I've run into a bit of a problem. My game was running at a decent speed for a while, around 70-80%, but then all of a sudden, it just dropped down to 50% consistently, I tried playing around with the settings, but nothing seems to work. Oddly enough, I can't seem to get a negative response either, no matter what I do, the game speed just hovers around 50%. The only time anything changes is when I change the Graphics Backend. I usually use OpenGL, but I tried changing it to both versions of Direct3D, and all it did was make the picture worse. Is there anything I should try?

My current settings are:

Backend: OpenGL
Adapter: Nvidia GeForce GTS 250
Fullscreen Resolution: Auto
Aspect Ratio: Auto
Internal Resolution: Auto (Window Size)
Anti-Ailiasing: None
Anisotropic Filtering: 1x
Post-Processing Effect: Off
EFB Copies: Texture
External Frame Buffer: Disabled
Texture Cache: Fast (Rightmost)

I have Disable Destination Alpha, Vertex Streaming Hack, Fast Depth Calculation, Scaled EFB Copy, Per-Pixel Lighting, and Disable Fog checked off. Everything else is disabled.

It doesn't happen on me, I'm using 4.0.2. When does the speed drops into 50%? It tends to be laggy in maps, but not in battles.

I think the problem has resolved itself somewhat. I checked off every option except the one that makes all the purple lines appear. I think the game's speed depends how long I keep the window open. The menus and stuff run fine, but maps are always rather slow at the beginning, and it gradually speeds up as I progress, as long as I don't go over to another window and leave the game running. It's tolerable for now, but if anyone has a solution, I'd love to hear it.

Ok that's good. Btw what version of radiant dawn are you using? NTSC or PAL? If PAL, beware of the bug that crashes the game in the beginning of part 4 endgame, after micaiah promotes. It's issue 4709 in google code.

I always got 100% speed in battles, but tend to drop in maps with large amounts of units. How come that you got only 50% in battles? I'm also using dolphin 4.0.2 stable version.

I randomly get a freeze occasionally using Rafiel. I think it only freezes when Vigor-ing multiple characters. Kinda annoying because it works for ages and suddenly freezes on you.

Hilariously all the models are slightly out of wack when looking at the Items screen in base - Some look like their arms are floating in the air, some are just warped a bit. Reyson looks like a zombie. It's fine in-game.

Also, Dolphin Action Replay Codes! Not sure where to put these so I'll post them here. I have figured out some codes that work for me, not sure which version of RFEE01 I have (there was a patch), but NTSC-U. The Gecko codes on geckocodes don't work for me, nor do AR codes I found elsewhere, so I figured some stuff out.

Anyone know how to find and create button activators for AR codes? http://kallums-ar-codes.webs.com/mariokartwiicodes.htm is very helpful but it doesn't seem to work for me (the codes are always on anyway), so presumably you have to offset some stuff for Dolphin, or else it doesn't work generally.

Spoiler: (Show Spoiler)
I REPEAT, THESE MAY NOT WORK FOR YOU - TRY THESE ONLY IF OTHER CODES DON'T WORK:

BEXP/Gold:
Spoiler: (Show Spoiler)
The BEXP codes seem to be a bit temperamental in terms of specifying how much EXP you have. 0x6000 seems to give you 999999 so whatever; Part 4 doesn't seem to be a simple sum. Gold codes work fine as far as I know.

[ActionReplay]
$BEXP Part 1
023CAB5C 00006000
$BEXP Part 2
023CAB60 00006000
$BEXP Part 3
023CAB64 00006000

$Gold 1
043CAB50 000F423F
$Gold 2
043CAB54 000F423F
$Gold 3
043CAB58 000F423F

For gold, Part 4 is simply the sum of the other 3.

$Nolan Item Slot 1
0484DB4C XXXXXXXX

You can find more character addresses by adding an offset calculated from the 99% EXP codes; e.g.:

Laura slot address = Nolan slot address + (Laura EXP address - Nolan EXP address):
= 0x0484DB4C + (0x0084DE7F - 0x0084DA8F) = 0x0484DF3C

[ActionReplay]
$Laura Item Slot 1
0484DF3C XXXXXXXX (totally untested)

You can find more slots for the same character by adding 0x28 to the address.

[ActionReplay]
$Nolan Item Slot 2
0484DB74 XXXXXXXX

For XXXXXXXX numbers (copied from the Gecko page and modified with a script):

0484DB50 XXYYZZZZ

XX: Number of uses. Not useful if you are blessing.

YY: Add the following together using a hex calculator:

+0x01: ???
+0x02: ???
+0x04: Locked to that character
+0x08: ???
+0x10: Blessed Item (you can bless anything)
+0x20: Forged Item (causes blank name if one is not already set, e.g. by it actually being forged)
+0x40: Makes name turn red, I guess drop on death... Interesting to see if that means you can give enemies items.
+0x80: Item is equipped (forced equips cause game freezes when you try to use them...)

ZZZZ: First two characters of the name. Knock yourself out finding characters - a few of the first ones are stars; modify the next bytes for more characters.

Forging:
Spoiler: (Show Spoiler)
Forged-ness must also be indicated by the above (Blessing etc) code using +20 (or else already be a forged weapon), else stats will remain normal.

If you want to modify other attributes of a character, change the address for 99EXP. The byte before (address ending in E instead of F) governs the current level of that character. e.g.:

[ActionReplay]
$Nolan Level 10

You can try messing around with the values from http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/920189-fire-emblem-path-of-radiance/25075967 Post #3. Those are for Path Of Radiance but they should be similar to here; you can also see the Skill Modifier stuff if you want to try translating it from http://geckocodes.org/?c=RFEE01 , it will just need to be moved around, all the memory is the same structure, just with an offset.
Some credit due to everyone in http://www.kodewerx.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=5793 ...

What version are you playing anyway? I never crashed while using any Herons. I'm playing PAL, but I also have the NTSC version. Also, for the AR codes, are those NTSC or PAL? I have completed the PAL once, and on my 2nd playthrough, the game crashed at the beginning of Part 4 Endgame. Just view issue 4709.

EDIT : I've tested those codes, they are NTSC Smile Anyway thanks for the codes. I'm not sure if the NTSC version is also affected by the crash, though.

The version I have is definitely NTSC but there were two different discs, after they released a v1.1 to fix the crash on importing Easy Mode data from PoR. Not sure which disc I have.

It's never crashed for me at a specific cutscene but it did also freeze one time at the Skrimir army transforming scene. It seems to be very upset about that kind of graphic effect being used multiple times.

Good to hear the codes work for someone else Cool
