Radiant Dawn is pretty damn demanding; it could totally be your computer.

I was able to, for the most part, fix the problem. I went to the game properties for Radiant Dawn and unclicked everything under core and changed the audio to LLE. This got the game working at 80-100%! I still wasn't happy with it, so I tried going back to the properties and under core, I checked off "enable dual core". Now, the game works at 95-100%. Just thought I'd share in case anyone comes across a similar problem.

This is probably a stupid question, but... how do I transfer data from Path of Radiance to Radiant Dawn? I've played all the way through both games with no issues, so I don't think anything is wrong with the software, but when I start a new game(in an empty slot or one with a completed game), it just asks for a difficulty setting and then starts the game without using my save data from PoR.

the game on PoR has to be on the "endgame" chapter. also, the two games have to be of the same region. for example, if i have a PAL version of radiant dawn because of all of it's bug fixes, but have the NTSC version of PoR, radiant dawn won't be able to take data from PoR because it's a different region.

They're both PAL, but my PoR save is on the "epilogue" chapter. So I'm not supposed to complete the last chapter?
EDIT: I just checked again and it turns out my PoR is actually NTSC. Well, that sucks. Thanks for the help though, at least now I know why it won't work. 05-18-2015, 08:58 AM
oh sorry i meant epilogue. did you watch the whole epilogue?

Yes I did watch the epilogue and the credits, but there's no way to save after the beginning of the epilogue because it just goes back to the top menu.

Hi there!
I'm a fairly new Dolphin User, so I'm still learning how to adjust the settings to get the games to work well. I've been having some pretty decent success getting some to work. But I'm not sure what settings I should be using with Radiant Dawn. Heres my computer info OS: OS X 10.9.5 Processor: 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5 Video Card: Intel HD Graphics 4000 1024 MB Memory: 4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 Dolphin Version: 4.0-6535 I've searched around and most stuff I find is either pretty dated or on a PC. So I'm not too sure what to make of those. But when I load the game the speed is very slow on the top is says from 25-45 VPS, with the % from 50-60. The audio comes out distorted. So if someone could please help advise me as to what kind of settings I need to have selected to get this game working properly I would greatly appreciate it! 06-07-2015, 08:15 AM
your computer isn't powerful enough to run the game at full speed. make sure you're following the performance guide on the wiki and the laptop performance guide here, but i doubt you will get desirable speeds

On Dolphin 4.0-6892, the character models in the battle map have very thick outlines. Strangely, this does not happen in Dolphin 4.0.2 x64 (stable version).
