OK, now I understand.
PS and Xbox are mapped in Wii+Nunchuck style.

If you use a Wii remote without nunchuck or you mapped a PS/Xbox/Other controler to Wii remote sideways (without nunchuck), this will happen.

So with what you play?
Win 10, Dolphin 5.0-1905.
i7-5820K, 16GB DDR4, AMD R9 280x DC2T.

I am using a logitech gamepad, emulated as a sideways Wii.

OK, add nunchuck and try to map to new layout style.
Check https://www.nintendo.com/consumer/gameslist/manuals/Wii_DKC_Returns.pdf
for original control layout, or check inside the game options.

Or you can edit DKCR.ini and change the buttons to point to dinput or xinput of yours.
Win 10, Dolphin 5.0-1905.

Based on help from Admentus,
in rev0 some HUD elements, some wii+nunchuck images, all the fonts and most gallery changed.

So maybe I can manage NTSC rev0 for V1.2.

Stay tuned!

Thanks a lot for your time! It is working now! Even though your config doesnt fit my playstyle Tongue.. I'll make my adjustments.
I much prefer using RT/RB for shake and X for picking up stuff. This reminds me more the old school because i can hold X to run faster and jump with A.. like the old SNES version Smile

He he,

Actually, when I started replaying it in dolphin instead of wii, after 2013 if I remember correctly, I really wanted to have the SNES style so much.
I avoid using my wii controls in games that don't actually need it. So I spent a lot of time in the 1st stage to fix my layout.

The good thing is that you can get accustomed to new controls in day or so.

Shaking the Wiimote sucks. It gets tiring at some point. Using a controller and pressing a button to simulate the shake effect is so much better. The Super Mario Galaxy games made to be played with the keyboard and mouse. Critics mentioned that the controls in Donkey Kong Country Returns were not that spot on (shaking for example), but when using a Xbox controller it is actually not thzt bad.

I agree.
But I had a lot of fun playing SMG and pointing wii remote to TV.

Also the controls are fixed for DKC Tropical Freeze. You can choose whatever you want.

Good stuff here keep going please. A lot of text needs to be done though, but I am not worried about that. Looks great!
