If you managed to patch your rip stay with 1.1. It's way better than 1.0 in texture quality. Also you probably saw that your save works with new version

Hmm, everything works pretty good in rev1.
Try to delete SF8 folder, and reextract it from v1.1 7z.
Just a small update about current work:
PS controller done.
Wii controls need more work.
Did some cleaning to transparency mask textures.
More backgrounds to HD.
I haven't had decide what to do about NTSC rev0. 
Needs more researching for the time.

No need. SF8 supersedes everything. Like a wildcard (SF8***).

This is only the controls mapping to xbox controller. Nothing else.
Everything essential is inside the SF8 folder.


Basically dolphin checks if there's SF8E01 folder. If yes it uses it.
If not then checks for region free folder (SF8).
The order of checks above is absolute.

So make sure you don't have a SF8E01 folder and you have only the SF8 from the v1.1 7z.

Hmm.. Still the same issue. All textures are there except xbox's.
apparently the issue on my end..i'll look into it!

Aha!
Wii controls are not there yet. Everything was replaced with xbox's.
So if you delete the folder, game's original wii controls are showing.

In V1.2 you could choose between Wii/PS/Xbox.
Bare with me. Need more time.

EDIT: I am also doing some cleaning in already done textures for extra clarity.
