Right now I'm hovering around 15-18 frames, 30 in sweet spots.

I'm using r6600 64 bit. I can get amazing frames on Sonic Colors and DKCR, whats the best rev/config for this game?

If you don't get fullspeed in DKCR and Sonic Colors you surely won't get them with this game.
The best settings for this game are also already applied through the game properties in recent revisions (right-click the game in dolphin game browser to see them)
Intel i5-4690k (Devil's Canyon) @ 3.5 GHz (+Scythe Mugen) / Gainward GTX 1070 Phoenix (OC'd) / ASUS Z97 PRO GAMER / 16GB G.Skill DDR3-2400 CL10 TridentX / X-Fi XtremeMusic / Win10 Pro 64bit / Dell S2716DG Monitor / 3x original WiiMote+MotionPlus+Nunchuk

25fps is the maximum frame-rate of this game running on the real PAL hardware.

Does anyone have any insight as to why this game is so slow? Is it doing something special? Just curious.

You need only the right setting. I have no problems with this game!

First: Use Jitil recompiler.

I use SLI for better image quality.

LOL Finniest post of the week! Just one GTX 480 costs far more than a single Wii.
