@ Warrio_r: I'm almost finished with a game thread for this, with all settings and all.

@iNeXuS: Could I link your video there?

@Everyone

Look, when I did my testing I didn't just run a bunch of revs without messing with setings. I'm not that careless. I tried every setting possible with every revision, so I could report the issues correctly on dolphin's google code page. The issue report is here. If you agree with the issues reported there, just star the issue so the devs can know about it. Besides, here is the summary of my tests, if anyone cares:

-Revisions above r5696 -> the game doesn't boot due to FIFO changes made
-Revisions too old -> the game crashes before it gets to the main menu
-There is sound issues wich could be resolved by using the new Xaudio2 backend MAYBE, but we can't test it for obvious reasons.
-Best revision to play the game for now -> r5186 as I already stated in my previous posts.
-Best settings -> just set dolphin basically like iNeXus did and you're good to go. No need to post mine here as they are almost the same. But I would recommend to turn off AA and don't set the resolution too high.

Happy gaming!

(11-23-2010, 04:32 AM)Doc E.Brown Wrote: so, i've tried this game on various revs: 2.0, 5696, 5186, 4714.

settings with EFB copy to texture, EFB Scaled Copy, DX9, Safe Texture Cache ON, Dual Core, using JIT.

the game runs between 30 and 40 frames: it's playable, but I can't understand why is so slow... I have no problem with other demanding games, I dunno. Huh
2.0, 5696 and 5186 works almost the same for me: random controller problem and audio noises (but you can "solve" them pressing Home button and then return to the game).
4714 seems to be much faster, but, at least for me, it crashes before get past the main menu.

ideas on how to get at least around 45, maybe 50 frames? revs, settings, i don't know what to do...

i'm a Q6600 2.4ghz, 3 gb Ram, GeForce GT220 1gb.

I use rev 2.0 and same processor you use but overclocked to 3.4. I get 58-60FPS: 1680X1050 and AA 2.5. I think you processor is the problem because you use then in stock. Sry for Bad english.
