I can get to the wii controller screen under dolphin software renderer but cant get past that it looks like it is not detected my mapped keys

I'm using the Direct3D9, Use Safe Texture Cache on Normal, and Enable EFB Copy to RAM.

I don't know what any of that stuff does, but it works lol. Also, try ALT + F5 to detect your controller.

i have the same problem... please help

Nope. Same black screen problem. I don't know what magic you guys are pulling though, I get 50% speed even on the Wii Controller screens on 5696. (AMD Athlon x2 7750 BE OC 3.2 GHZ, Geforce 9600GT DDR3 512MB) Fiddiling around with the graphics and setting AA doesn't change the FPS at all, so I guess it's CPU related... But I've seen people with less clock getting much better speeds!

Dolphin SVN R 5696, D3D Dx9 plugin, goes 80% speed on my Q9450 @ 2.66 GHz + 460GTX 1 GB.
The sound is there but it sucks. Here are some screens:

Alright, I've got some new info on the game, maybe some of it will help.
1. the game also suffers from the bloom offset issue (not as badly as e.g. ZTP, though)
2. there's a strange issue that about 70% of the times you start the game, it doesn't recognize any wiimote input (got a real wiimote). When it doesn't work, you have to close Dolphin and open it again...though even then it won't always work. Also it only seems to work with JIT, strangely...didn't the that had anything to do with the wiimotes...
3. the big issue: sound. I've fiddled around a bit. You can only start the game with revision 5698 or below. But you can copy over the HLE plugin from a recent build. There wasn't much work on it, of course, but I think one or two commits were done and it might be placebo, but I think sound is a bit better with it. Note, that you cannot open the DSP config dialogue if you do that...but that doesn't matter, the plugin works fine and there's nothing much to config anyway (can still change the ini file, though). One more important thing: when you've got sound loops and noise going on, enter and exit the HOME menu, and it'll be gone Big Grin
It's still not perfect, but it seems enjoyable like that.

Hm, speed is fine for me, btw.

Try deleting your cache when that happens. It's fixed the problem for me most of the time. Cross that, no change.

Well, your system looks like it should be performing alright, but should there really be any difference when using a Dual-Core against a Quad Core system on Dolphin? A friend of mine with a Quad-core, but lower clock has less performance than me in CPU-intensive games. He's got a much better GPU than me too.

The music and sounds run at the correct speed though, even if Audio Throttle is either ticked or not...

huh, it seems the wiimote also won't be recognized if you open the wiimote config before starting the game...so, get your wiimote paired up, close Dolphin, open Dolphin, open game (without entering wiimote config again).
@Dario: what cache do you mean? the shader cache? what would that one have to do with the wiimote?
Yeah, quad core doesn't help here...if you have high clocks, you should get good speed.
You don't need audio throttle here, it even seems to make audio worse for this game. Rather put framelimit to auto.

I meant the cache on the User/Cache folder, but nevermind, since it doesn't seem to fix the problem anymore... Blush It worked 3 out of 3 times and assumed too fast that it was the problem...

One question : how do you put audio throttle off when you have the new DSP plugin ? Is there an .ini file to modify ? Or maybe you can modify audio throttle before change the plugin ? Thx.
