Hi all, using 7820 build, after finishing bonus level "1k", that's the level that gets unlocked after beating the first boss, get an error:
"Invalid read from 0x53463861, PC = 0x80412f38" Any idea what's going on ? Also, when using quick saves and quick loads a lot, dolphin tends to crash all the time. Thanks 09-28-2015, 12:26 PM
Probably using quick saves/quick loads + dualcore is causing the game to crash.

I just disabled dual core, and still getting the same crash .. is my save already corrupted ?

Hey guys I didn't knew that you could use the second controller if we press the ALT+F6 on game menu, I've tried and it really works!
I've made a little work arround for me to use on Steam Big Picture, but is still not perfect, if anyone else knows a way to fix it, please give it a try. Okay so my idea was to make a batch file to launch Dolphin with the game already and run a autoit scrip to wait X seconds and send the keys to the game. For my specs and hammering the button until the game reaches the main menu screen, something between 15 and 18 seconds are the ideal. My only problem was that I don't know why steam can't force close Dolphin throught Big Picture option when launched from my script. I'll post the description of what exactly I did here. This is the code on my Batch file Code: start "" "C:\Program Files\Dolphin\Dolphin.exe" --exec "C:\Users\Andre\Documents\Dolphin Emulator\Isos\Donkey Kong Country Returns\SF8E01.wbfs" --batch This is the code of my autoit script Code: Run("C:\Users\Andre\Documents\Andre\Atalhos Games\Dolphin DKKR\DKKR.bat") I know it could be done alone on autoit but I couldn't figure out how to execute Dolphin and load the game via autoit code. I'm not even close of being a programer but this kind of works, if someone else has an idea of why Steam can't force close Dolphin when launched this way =P Also for Dolphin developers, I think this could be a "great" workarround to be implemented on Dolphin it self, it could be some option like: DKKR player 2 Hack - Description: This hack autoconnets the second wii remote after X seconds, the wii remote must be conneted on the main menu screen, test on your system and put on this box how many seconds it takes to get there. Also the trigger to start this could be the first button pressed after the game loads, because we have to press some button to skip the safety warning. Or even better it could count how many button pressed you had, because there's the select file load screen and the press 2 screen, it would be more precise if it starts the counting after X button 2 presses and then send the reconnect command. If I kind of fixed this wihtout knowing nothing in half hour, I believe it would be a piece of cake for former programmers and developers like you guys EDIT: Okay PLAN B: Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay easier! Get XPADDER, create two profiles, one empty for the first controller. On the second controller right click some button and use the select set while held option choose set 2. There should be a bunch o numbered squares on the bottom of the window, click on the one that has the number two on it, this is set 2. Choose another button and add the button ALT on the vitrual keyboard, click on advanced, now on the blank square next to the ALT square and choose F6 on the virtual keyboard now. What we done was a button combo! When you held the first button it changes from set 1 to set 2, then you press the button you choose to add the ALT F6, if you leave everything else blank it should not be a problem with anything, you could even use some combination like held L3 and press START. I did held Select and Press Start on mine, because it's the second controller and I don't see many games using this command nowdays. Okay next step: Go to XPADDER configuration and enable auto profile, there's a tiny check box to activate it. After that create a auto profile for the empty profile we did and another one for the profile we created with the button held thing, for both add the Dolphin.exe as watch. You should set the empty profile first if you want to keep the first controller clean. Remember to add XPADDER to the windows startup, or at least remember to start it before steam. This way we can start the game from Big Picture, Xpadder will auto load the empty profile on the first controller and the ButtonHeld on the second controller (it loads the profiles in order), so when the game gets to the main menu you just have to use your button combo on the second controller and that's it! NEXT STEP: I've tried to figure out a way to make the autoprofile thing read the notepad.exe or a .bat file, I would like to create another shortcut just to autoload two empty profiles on Xpadder just to be sure the button combo will never get in the way of the gaming, but as the controller 1 is clean whatever hahahaha KIND OF DUMB IDEA: Xpadder also has a command line thing that I didn't try to understand, maybe we could create a batch file or script to auto load the game with the correct profile and after playing just running another script for killing the xpadder process. This second script would be necessary because steam don't have an option to run something on exit like some frontends. But the idea is dumb because if on my first try the game didn't close god knows why after it started from the script we would get similar results. SUGGESTION TO DOLPHIN DEVELOPERS: All this hassle could be EAAAAAASILLY avoided if the Dolphin config menu where you set Custom HOTKEYS, could accept controller inputs. We could just add some two or three button combo for the connect controller thing and we would be set. I believe this is a much better solution to this issue than the one I suggested before. Mods: Please keep my post here for future reference to people who face the same situation and is searching for solutions 10-07-2015, 07:27 AM
I just wanted to ask, how playable is this game with an emulated Wii Remote? Based on the controls and style of gameplay, I would have thought fairly playable, but am I wrong?

I've finished the game on the actual wii and don't remember of nothing fancy with the wii remote, you should map some button to shake the controller and that's it, don't know if you are familiar with but you could use the same config you would to play NSMBW. 10-19-2015, 12:03 AM

Can someone else try this with 4.0-8040 for me? Cause my PC is invisible and I would like to know if I have the settings wrong or am better off with an older revision.
Disabling Fast Depth Calculation didnt do anything to fix this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GHDIDnz0RM8 10-21-2015, 03:43 AM
