I changed compatibility from 5 to 4 because it's not perfect. The videos have glitches (even without AF, with AF they're totally garbled) and something seems to be wrong with the input of the wiimote swing because the "Spin Attack" of the Tarantula doesn't work most of the time: https://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu/is...akechanges

Well, I thought it was that ancient issue a lot of game videos always had (and which, I'm sure, has been reported dozens of times), but now I think it's not the same one because now checking Ubisoft games and Epic Mickey, their videos are clear (with AF disabled) (though pixally, but I guess that's not Dolphin's fault but the original videos quality?).
Maybe it's only bink videos which still have the issue... ![]()

I just saw Red Steel 2 has it as well, at least in the Ubisoft logo video.

The games keeps on locking when I use Dolphin 4.0-4954. However the game runs fine using build number 4.0-4091-x64.

Edit Reason: Done more testing
)
The game seems to hang on JIT. On JITIL it works fine, but a little slower.
Also tried to switch DSP engunes, graphic backends, turned DualCore and Idle Skipping off/on, turn on/off various options in game properties - nothing helps, game keeps hanging: FPS drops to 0, video freezes, game shows no reaction on control, but if cutscene was played before the hang, the sounds of it continue to play. Dolphin build: 4.0-7021 UPD: Tested on 4.0-7052, managed to get through first cutscene and to eat some crickets without hangs. But it hangs now in just one place - second cutscene, when beetle throws other beetle on the cactus' spike. Maybe this change of behaviour made by merging PR#2748? |
