Hi everyone. I recently approached to dolphin software (which I think is a fantastic program). I want to emulate a Wii game and have purchased a compatible Wii Remote Plus controller (including Nunchuck). I am trying to pair it with the computer but it is not detected. I tried to turn off and on the bluetooth, restart the computer, I tried to have it recognized by the Device Manager but nothing. It does not appear. Am I doing something wrong? How can I solve? Is it the controller not working? I apologize for the possibly stupid question. Thank you so much for your help and forgive my bad English.

Some 3rd-party controllers will not pair with standard bluetooth adapters, period. If you're dealing with a Nintendo-brand official Wiimote, this article covers how to pair it in Windows... https://dolphin-emu.org/docs/guides/wii-...ion-guide/ Best option is to pair it from the Control panel, view by Category in Control Panel, then under Hardware and Sound, select to Add a device. Press the "sync" button underneath the battery compartment lid and your PC should see it as an input device. Skip the PIN code (just click next), and it should pair. The lights will continually flash on the controller. When you open Dolphin, make sure "real Wii remote" is selected for controller one, then hit "refresh" or tick off "continuous scan". When the Wiimote is recognized, it'll vibrate and the LED should turn solid for controller one on the Wiimote. When the Wiimote powers off, you'll have to re-pair it in Windows. It's a hassle. Otherwise the MayFlash DolphinBar is a good alternative for connecting Wiimotes. 09-12-2020, 08:14 PM
It Is a 3rd-party controlloer. I also bought the Dolphin sensor bar, the bar recognizes and associates the wii controller but when I go to emulate the games, nothing happens. None of the buttons work. It's normal? Maybe I need to do something in Dolphin's settings?

Maybe I need to do something in Dolphin's settings? Is it mode 4? Is the wii remote still connected after starting the game? Is there a real wii remote selected in dolphin remote 1? What game are you playing? 09-14-2020, 02:35 AM
ok. I plugged in the bar, put the light on number 4, syncronized the controller, I went into the settings and put the Real Wii remote, the controller is detected. I have tried several games. The buttons work but not the movement. I tried an original Wii controller and it works. So it's the joystick that's not working. I'll send it back. Thanks for your help.

Sorry again. Is there an option that prevent the screesaver during game? while I am playing, the display brightness goes down and then the screen turns off. Is there any option in dolphin that prevents this problem? Or do I have to change the power settings of the pc?
