Wii Controller Keeps Disconnecting

My real wiimote was working well before but now when I synchronize it (by pressing the 1 and 2 buttons) it vibrates and lights up only to lose the light 5 to 30 seconds later.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have continuous scanning enabled?

Let's test for recent regressions. Can you test if the issue is present in 5.0 and 5.0-148?

I googled 5.0-148 and got an information page. Is that another version? Is so, I can't find a download link for mac.

That's the correct version, though there's no download link for Mac because the Mac buildbot failed (it just happens sometimes). But that's not an issue, any version between 5.0-56 and 5.0-151 (excluded) will do.
