Is it possible to use a Wii Classic controller or Wii U Pro controller for emulating Gamecube games?

As far as I know, Wii remotes are disabled when running a Gamecube game, so I'm not sure if/how it would work.

As for the Wii U Pro controller I assume it would connect as a bluetooth device the same way wii remotes do. Would it require the DolphinBar or Toshiba Stack to use?

It's possible, but Dolphin's RealWiimote system alone can't do it. You'll have to set up the controllers as system-level controllers and assign them as any other gamepad.

The DolphinBar can do this with Mode3, for example. I talked about it in our DolphinBar Review!
