This game was probably cancelled before release.

Apart from no proof on the web, wikipedia states: Chess Crusade was never released, and was re-tooled into "Chess Crusades" and released in 2010 for the iPad.

Any more info is appreciated

Definitely cancelled. Every other source (GameFAQs, eBay) confirms, or at least echoes Wikipedia. Only evidence is WIP video with debugging stuff. Definitely was in a playable state, just never saw the light of day
