Do you think this was a bug in the code, or just some sort of protection from the developer ?
I7 7700, Zotac 980 Amp Extreme Edition, 16 GBs DDR4
Always using latest dev version unless noted

I wouldn't call it a bug, but indeed, the DVD read function is very poorly coded and doesn't wait for reads to complete properly. It only works on hardware because of dcache.
