First of all, ignore the test by "TommyX" since I already discovered he trolled all of his reports.

Second, the game boots, and seems working, but starting a new game, I get the usual "Disconnect the extension controller (Wii remote 1)". Doing so, however does not get to hide the screen, and the game keeps waiting forever. Game not playable for me.
This is not the main menu check, which works ok if you disconnect the extension port, it's an additional one just starting a new game.

Build 5.0 6194, D3D, all default settings.
Tested back to 4.0 8400, same behaviour
I7 7700, Zotac 980 Amp Extreme Edition, 16 GBs DDR4
Always using latest dev version unless noted

Care to explain? Remember, TommyX was using an ancient Dolphin build, back when a ton of games were broken. If you tested it on r6897, the behavior might indeed be as described. But r6897 is something like 5 years old at this point, so any info should be taken as a reflection of the past, not the current state (or even semi-recent).

DarkMoe challenged the existence of one of the Wii titles still currently on the wiki, The Crime Files. We came to the conclusion that the game does not exist, even though TommyX has one of those templated tests for it. So it makes all of his test results suspect. See here and here.

All his tests have been revoked, the page for The Crime Files was deleted, and so was the thread. Kolano took care of it, so don't worry about this anymore.

Yeah, exactly what Xerxes said, thank you ! At least 5 titles "tested" by him were on games that don't exist. All with the same copy pasted report.

Anyway, to not go offtopic, any suggestion on the bug I reported ? Is there a possible workaround ?

Thanks !

Okay, that context makes more sense. To someone unfamiliar with what you all have been talking about, it looked as if DarkMoe was saying that TommyX's report was invalid because the issue didn't exist back in r6897 rather than TommyX completely making stuff up at the time.

I can confirm the issue with emulated Wii Remotes. Are you using emulated Wii Remotes, DarkMoe, or can you confirm this with real Wii Remotes?

I'm using emulated wiimotes, and unfortunately I can't confirm if it works or not with real wii controls

No problems with real wii remote and bluetooth passthrough mode.
