I think is a black brick. No solution. Do you have bootmii and nand backup?
Or even preloader?

You have bootmii installed on boot2 or IOS?
If you have installed as IOS, will not work, and there's nothing to do.

Did you update to Wii menu 4.2? If so it can have been a complete brick with the bootloader (can happen even if you don't have homebrew)
Specs: intel i5 3570k @ 3.4GHz;
16Gb RAM; Raedon HD 7900;
Win8 64-Bit

i was upgrading to wii menu 4.0, i have bootmii installed as an ios.

now...what is infectus?? is it a hardware nand modifier or something??
here is some more information:
i was upgrading to system menu 4.0 with waninkoko's 4.0 updater.
the update appeared to work, it said update completed than hung. i didnt know what to do so i turned my wii off. and now when ever i turn the wii on i am left with the same black screen that i got after updating.
before the update i had preloader and bootmii as an ios. but i think the update removed them.
