Most importantly I want to ask if this is in anyway unethical, bothersome to ask, or otherwise wrong in any way. IMO I think I would be helpful to some. I'm not trying to support piracy by any means here, just trying to find a way to help people that end up in the situation I'm in now.
Short story: I f'd up my users folder and now my banners are history.
My excuse: My son likes the images and hates reading, he recognizes images better. He just seem to get a bigger kick out of playing on the computer then the wii. I tried to go in to each game and save but its not always working quite right and a pain at that.
What I suggest and hope to accomplish:
What I want to do is collect the banner.dat for each game on the dolphin emulator. To do this one would simply zip up the title folder. A quick way to find the folder is right click on a game and open save folder and back up to the title folder.
Save data is also in this folder so for some of you it would be really big. That is easy to fix by copying the title folder to another location and doing a search and deleting all but the file structure and banner files. The entire idea here is that once I get a big collection of these banners one could just drop it in place, over-right, and have all banner files.
Thoughts on the matter? Would anyone be willing to up their title folder so I can compile all this data and make a complete banner download? Going to need a few people with lots of games to help.
