I have a wii balance board and a copy of wii fit plus. I also have the dolphin bar.
I can sync up my wii motes to the dolphin bar just fine. I put batteries in my wii balance board, hit the sync button, and the balance boards button flashes for a little bit and then stops flashing. I have continuous scanning enabled in my options and the balnace board set to "real balance board". I hit refresh and my wii motes vibrated.
When I load up wii fit plus, it seems like dolphin gets confused about peripherals. The front button on the balance board does light up and stay lit in response to the gaming being loaded. Promising, I thought. However, I am not able to use player one's wii mote to use the menus most every time. On a fluke, I got into the menus once and went through the setup process. The game then prompts me to turn on the balance board. I hit the button on the board and nothing happened. The boards LED was one, but the game did not detect that it was plugged in.
I don't know how to confirm whether or not the dolphin bar, the balance board, and dolphin are even talking to each other, so it is difficult to diagnose. Any suggestions? What is the best configuration for this hardware? Would you recommend syncing with a device other than the dolphin bar?
Running 5.0 stable.
