Now that the real wiimote scanning branch got merged into master, I dusted off the old balance board and Wii Ski & Snowboard to see if I could get it working. I'm afraid not...

First of all, the real wiimote disconnects itself regularly and refuses to connect at all if send speaker info is unchecked. But this only happens in Wii Ski & Snowboard.

Secondly, I have no way of telling if Dolphin can even see the balance board because the "x wiimotes connected" message is no longer there.

Turn on the log and look there while trying to connect it.

set before starting the game, make sure that the real wiimote choice above matches the balance board slot

only connect the balance board as far as real wiimotes, connect emulated wiimote if a wiimote is necessary for the game

if you really want to test it anyways the 32bit build will be fine on 64bit windows

which build are you testing (the first or second that I posted), are there any other games you can test with?

The patch definitely needs work (detecting a balanceboard in the connection, rather than making the user do the work)
but at least I now know that it kindof works

Do you watched some shows produced by WIC Entertainment, LPFaint99?

Hello I've just built an HTPC and since my Wii had to go to save space I did the second best thing by installing this emulator (great job guys!).

I've installed all my peripherals without issue, dumped my games too . Everything is fine except one thing that bothers me:

Every time that I have to use my "wii" I now have to resync my peripherals. Is that supposed to happen? And while the wii mote can be easily synced by pressing 1+2, my balance board is a pain in the a$$

So -yeah-, I guess my question is this: Is there a quick way to connect my balance board every time I -say- launch wii fit?

Right now I have to always open the battery tray and press the red button, which is quite a hassle to be done in a relatively heavy peripheral like the balance board. Especially since my kids are too young for that so I always have to be the one to do it. An easier way would be a life saver.

Thanks!
