Okay, I managed to connect the balanceboard in dolphin. at least it says "1 connected".
the led of the BB is out the whole time, also when I press the power-button on the BB.
when I start Wiifitplus, it says ingame: "press the sync buttons on the wii balanceboard and the wii console" (see attachment)
so obviously, it doesnt recognize the BB as BB Sad
if I press the sync-button on BB, led starts blinking, nut after that, it isnt connected any more in dolphin...

here's a new version, the slot that the balance board is configurable
set before starting the game, make sure that the real wiimote choice above matches the balance board slot

only connect the balance board as far as real wiimotes, connect emulated wiimote if a wiimote is necessary for the game

WOW! THX for that fast new version

but I have to say, that the behaviour is still the same.
I attached another screenshot to ensure, I did all right
I hope, it helps...
hmmmmm...
I just tried the BB as wiimote1. now the led of the BB is on, as it should be.
but now, I cant hit the "a" button ingame, to see, if it works, because I had to choose the emulated wiimote2...

did you try the other slots? i don't know if the game expects it in a specific slot, but it is worth trying.

if the behavior is the same with each slot, I probably won't be able to fix this without a real balance board

yes I just did.
the only slot the LED is on is slot1.
2,3,4 the led is off
but also in slot 1 the screen "press the sync-button" appears ingame

no, there is no need for a 64bit version of this patch, it doesn't work

if you really want to test it anyways the 32bit build will be fine on 64bit windows

OK IT WORKS!!!Tongue

I've tested it with Family ski and snowboard...
As you said, I've connected in slot 1 an emulated wiimote and in slot 4 a physical wiimote which is the BB.
The game detects the BB and also the calibration and movements.
The LED is OFF but it is in function.

So the next step is the physical wiimote + BB, no?

you should be able to use real wiimote(s) + BB, you would just need to take care in connecting them

which build are you testing (the first or second that I posted), are there any other games you can test with?

The patch definitely needs work (detecting a balanceboard in the connection, rather than making the user do the work)
but at least I now know that it kindof works

It's great news that the balance board is now working, even if the user has to do the work. I would be very happy to help test this. Which build does the second version that you posted require? Would any subsequent build work also?
